HINTS TO HELP YOU SOLVE TODAY’S WORDLE ANSWER

Wordle hint and clues for today (#1192, September 23)

With the help of the previous hints plus the answer to Wordle #1,192, which begins with S, you should now have all the pieces necessary to figure out the solution without breaking a Wordle streak.

Absolutely! Here’s how you can approach solving the Wordle:
  • Start with Common Letters: Use words that contain frequently used letters in English, like E, A, R, T, and S.
  • Analyze the Feedback: After each guess, pay attention to the color feedback:

    • Green means the letter is correct and in the right position.
    • Yellow means the letter is correct but in the wrong position.
    • Gray means the letter is not in the word at all.
  • Use Clues Wisely: Based on the clues you have (like the number of vowels, repeated letters, etc.), think of words that fit those criteria.
  • Eliminate Options: Keep track of the letters you’ve confirmed as not being in the word, and avoid using them in future guesses.
  • Narrow Down: After a couple of guesses, you should have a clearer idea of what letters are possible. Start forming words that fit all the clues and the feedback.

What is the Wordle solution for game #1,192 today?

It’s time for a cheer: STEAM.

Hi everyone who uses words. This one is also really simple, helped along by the fact that it contains three of the five most often occurring Wordle letters.

All three of my ORATE beginning words turned yellow: “A,” “T,” and “E.” That meant, according to Wordle Ai, that 39 possible answers remained.

If Wordle Ai had used one of its greatest Wordle start terms, it may have been even better. BLAST reduces the number of solutions to 26 whereas CARTE leaves 27. There would be only five possibilities remaining if you played SLATE.

During my second turn, I like to play as many of the letters “L,” “I,” “S,” “N,” and “C” as I can. With TALES, I was able to get the most out of that strategy.

It performed well. I eliminated all of my previous letters in a second area and added a yellow “S” to the mix, even though I didn’t receive any greens. WordleBot* indicated that there were four options remaining.

And that’s when I made a mistake, although a lucky one. I played STEAL, not realizing for some reason that I had eliminated ‘L’ before. However, it made all four of my yellow characters green and neatly rearranged them.

There were three options left. Fortunately, I chose the correct one and entered STEAM to win the game in four moves.

I hope you performed well.

Wordlers, today. Until tomorrow, bye.

* STEAK, STEAM, STEAD, and SWEAT were these.
