HINTS TO HELP YOU SOLVE TODAY’S WORDLE ANSWER

Wordle hint and clues for today (#1193, September 24)

In addition to the previous suggestions, the solution to Wordle #1,193 begins with the letter H, so you should now have all the hints you need to figure out the answer without breaking a Wordle streak.

Absolutely! Here’s how you can approach solving the Wordle:
  • Start with Common Letters: Use words that contain frequently used letters in English, like E, A, R, T, and S.
  • Analyze the Feedback: After each guess, pay attention to the color feedback:

    • Green means the letter is correct and in the right position.
    • Yellow means the letter is correct but in the wrong position.
    • Gray means the letter is not in the word at all.
  • Use Clues Wisely: Based on the clues you have (like the number of vowels, repeated letters, etc.), think of words that fit those criteria.
  • Eliminate Options: Keep track of the letters you’ve confirmed as not being in the word, and avoid using them in future guesses.
  • Narrow Down: After a couple of guesses, you should have a clearer idea of what letters are possible. Start forming words that fit all the clues and the feedback.

What is the Wordle solution for game #1,193 today?

Please, drum roll; this is HANDY.

Hi everyone who uses words. Even though the solution for today simply includes the letter “A,” which is one of the five most common Wordle letters, it wasn’t too difficult to figure out. See what you think. Maybe I was simply lucky.

Using ORATE first, I saw a single yellow ‘A’. Wordle Ai calculated that this meant there were still a whopping 161 viable possibilities.

Today, not even Wordle Ai greatest Wordle start terms were performing well; words with a ‘N’ did better. For instance, PANEL reduced the number of solutions to 24 whilst CRANE left 65. There would be only fifteen alternatives left to choose if you played TREND.

‘L’, ‘I’, ‘S’, ‘N’, and ‘C’ are the next most common characters after all the letters in my start word of ORATE, thus I aim to play them rapidly.

With only one yellow letter, I was able to be quite efficient by playing NAILS. This caused ‘A’ to turn green and ‘N’ to turn yellow, according to WorldeBot*, leaving me with just 14 alternative solutions.

After that, I tried CANDY, and to my surprise, everything save for ‘C’ became green.

The drawback of this is, of course, that I might try these three letters—”H,” “D,” and “B”—instead of the rogue “C.” Luckily, I used HANDY on my first try, winning four turns in a row.

Wordlers, hopefully you did well today. Until tomorrow, bye.

* These included: HANDY, DANDY, BANDY, MANGY, JANKY, HANKY, FAUNA, PAGAN, MANGA, MANNA, CANDY, FANCY, CANNY and PANDA.
